Word 2007 offers you PDFs in one click
In this issue’s article titled “3 ways to protect your document from meddling,” we list a PDF as one method of sharing a document without allowing changes. Microsoft Office 2007 offers plenty of new features and a complete facelift to boot. But one of the suite’s most exciting new features stems from Microsoft’s collaboration with Adobe. Now you only need to download a free add-in for your Office 2007 suite to get one-click PDF creation, as shown in Figure A.
To download the Microsoft Save As PDF add-in, go to www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=f1fc413c-6d89-4f15-991b-63b07ba5f2e5&displaylang=en and click the Download button. Follow the installation instructions on the site.
